VP of Supply Chain (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's Degree in related field required
2. Minimum of 10 years of Global Supply Chain experience within a manufacturing environment
3. Minimum of 5 years, senior leadership of a professional supply chain staff
4. Proven track record of managing complex supply chains and delivering measurable improvements
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
6. Strong negotiation and communication skills
7. Experience with enterprise level ERP, supply chain & analytics systems (Oracle EBS, Tagitek, Alteryx) preferred
8. APICS Certification or demonstrated progress toward certification strongly preferred

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Direct, supervise, mentor and develop staff to deliver operational results that meet and exceed planned expectations. Demonstrate strong leadership through training and coaching to drive excellence and best practice
2. Work in a collaborative fashion with other department heads, such as Sales, Finance and Manufacturing/Operations to execute corporate strategy
3. Responsible for corporate and site specific Supply Chain activity
4. Develop strategies and goals to include on time material delivery to each local facility, maximizing inventory turns and minimizing Excess & Obsolescence
5. Identify and lead continuous improvement in Supply Chain including internal material flow processes and systems
6. Expand corporate strategy of commodity and materials sourcing processes
7. Responsible for managing to corporate metrics, including customer satisfaction, profitability, inventory turns, cost reductions, supplier quality and delivery
8. Build strategic alliances with key supplier partners based on metrics of quality, total cost and delivery linking to strategic business needs while reducing external spending
