Responsibilities
- Prepare the monthly consolidation of multiple domestic and international subsidiary general ledgers.
- Maintain multi-currency translations for international operations within consolidation software.
- Maintain consolidation and elimination adjustments within consolidation software.
- Ensure proper elimination of intercompany transactions upon consolidation.
- Prepare key quarterly reports used for external reporting purposes such as segment results and SEC filing footnote disclosure support.
- Maintain purchase accounting basis differences for acquisitions.
- Work directly with business partners (accounting, FP&A and other) to identify and resolve issues in consolidation software. Provides guidance on system usage where necessary.
- Maintain chart of accounts within consolidation software and makes necessary changes to metadata.
- Performs monthly analysis of packages received from non-integrated entities such as trial balance flux, account mapping review and review of key balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepares quarterly statement of cash flows
- Facilitate the mapping of new accounts created by all subsidiaries.
- Assist with developing automated data loads from new acquisitions.
- Support year-end financial statement audit and quarterly reviews.
- Participate, record, and document the processes and controls. Execute and ensure compliance of key internal controls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related, accredited field required; at least three years of related work experience may be considered in substitution.
- Experience with a publicly-traded company preferred.
- Experience with Planful software preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within an Accounting environment.
- CPA preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
- Strong, independent worker.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to travel occasionally as required.
- Able to read, speak and write in English.
- Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions.
- Strong physical and mental health to maintain demanding workload.
- Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work.
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships and maintain them over time.
- Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty strives for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.
