About the role

Zeffy supports 30,000 nonprofits with the only truly free fundraising platform.

The challenge? Many platforms claim to be free but typically charge an average fee of 5% per transaction, totalling $3 billion annually in North America.

As Zeffy’s first Senior Brand Manager (reporting directly to the CEO), your mission is to communicate Zeffy’s unique value—amplifying nonprofit impact by eliminating fundraising fees— and to drive organic growth as Zeffy becomes the obvious choice for U.S. nonprofits.

Specifically, your mission will be to:

• Find Zeffy’s most effective positioning by gaining deep understanding of nonprofit challenges, the fundraising landscape, and how Zeffy’s brand fits within it.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate this new positioning into existing channels such as paid social, Google ads, and our website, aiming to boost their performance.
• Launch and scale new organic channels by testing initiatives across social media, PR, partnerships, and other potentially effective channels.

🌟 Success in one year means significantly increasing the number of new nonprofits joining Zeffy each month through your work on integrating our positioning in existing channels and scaling new ones. Long-term success will be measured by the number of new nonprofits joining Zeffy through organic channels.

Preferred Qualifications

• You have 7+ years experience as a Brand Director or Senior Brand Manager, with a proven track record of positioning brands with the result of scaling organic channels and driving top-of-mind brand awareness.
• You possess excellent written and oral English skills and are known as an exceptional storyteller. You have the ability to express complex messages in simple, impactful ways.
• You prioritize based on impact, and always try to find the more effective approach to reach your goals.
• A plus: You have experience working in the U.S. market.

The range:

• Our ideal seniority level: 7+ years experience expertise as a Senior Brand Specialist
• The corresponding salary range: CAD 110,000 + stock options
