Senior Test Manager - Newark, NJ - Hybrid - Remote | WFH

We are a leading consultancy specializing in technology solutions for the energy sector, currently seeking a Senior Test Manager to join our team. This role offers a hybrid work model with remote options.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement testing strategies and plans for Energy Management System (EMS) implementations for electric utility clients.

Manage end-to-end testing phases including function testing, system integration testing, UAT, performance testing, security testing, and DR testing.

Lead the creation and enforcement of Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) policies and procedures.

Oversee the Defect Tracking System (ALM & ServiceNow), ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Coordinate defect status reporting and collaborate with key stakeholders during release planning.

Maintain a testing command center to monitor progress and ensure adherence to exit criteria.

Conduct regular audits of testing processes to ensure compliance with TCoE standards.

Required Skills

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Test Manager, with a total of 15 years in software testing.

Expertise in Energy Management System (EMS) or Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) is essential.

Proficiency in various testing types including unit, system, user acceptance, usability, security, performance, and disaster recovery.

Familiarity with ServiceNow Test Management Module is advantageous.

Strong background in creating test strategies for hybrid Agile projects.

In-depth understanding of testing life cycles from Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Experience in defect management, triage, and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
