Basic Qualifications

Current DoD Top Secret SCI with Polygraph.

• Nine (9) years experience as a Systems Administrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
• Four (4) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Three (3) years experience in one or more of the following areas:
• TCP/IP, networks; computer configuration skills; remote manipulation of systems, remote monitoring and administration
• Sun Solaris, HP-Unix, Linux, VMS, and Windows operating systems to include shell scripting and XML
• Networking equipment and router operations
• Smart data tagging; virtual computing; thin client applications.

The Work:

As a Systems Administrator Staff, you will:

• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
• Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated ticket

Desired Skills

Three (3) years experience in Linux system administration using shell scripting

• Ten (10) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $95,900 - $183,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $110,300 - $207,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
