Communication Director

The Communication Director in the distribution transformer manufacturing industry is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives. • Oversee the company's digital communication efforts, including the website, social media channels, and email marketing, ensuring consistency and engagement.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to align communication strategies with marketing initiatives and sales objectives.
• Develop and manage crisis communication plans, acting as the primary spokesperson for the company in times of crisis to maintain brand integrity.
• Organize and oversee corporate events, including press conferences, trade shows, and corporate meetings, ensuring the company is represented professionally.
• Monitor and analyze communication activities' effectiveness, leveraging analytics to inform future strategies. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to ensure the communication strategy remains relevant and impactful.
• Foster a culture of clear and open communication within the company, providing guidance and support for internal communication initiatives.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of related experience with 5 or more in a communication leadership role, ideally within the manufacturing, engineering, or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of the distribution transformer manufacturing industry and technical products.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including content management systems and social media.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
