Job Overview

The Loyalty & Personalization Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing of personalization campaigns. This role involves managing campaigns and maintaining effective daily communication with cross-functional teams, including creative and design teams, leadership, and various internal and external partners.

As customers increasingly seek personalized experiences, this position is essential in leading successful personalization campaigns. Personalization is a key growth area for Macy’s, designed to differentiate the brand in the market, enhance customer experiences, foster long-term loyalty, and solidify Macy’s position as a leader in the retail industry.



What You Will Do

  • Draft briefs and project requirements for personalized offers aimed at increasing sales, member engagement, purchase frequency, and retention.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external partners on personalization campaigns, plans, and strategies.
  • Produce and distribute kickoff materials, including slides and briefs, to ensure alignment on strategy and execution.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring all requirements are met, with a focus on status tracking, note-taking, and documenting action items.
  • Maintain detailed records of all project materials and manage a shared drive for easy access to documents and results.
  • Verify offer setup, inclusions/exclusions, and readiness for go-live, coordinating closely with cross-functional partners.
  • Oversee the launch of offers, ensuring a smooth production experience and promptly addressing any issues that arise.
  • Track and report on campaign performance using reporting tools and systems, summarizing data with visualization techniques to monitor performance trends.
  • Analyze campaign performance, draw insights, and recommend enhancements for future campaigns.
  • Prepare summaries and recap decks for leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Support the Senior Manager in implementing loyalty offers and personalization campaigns, acting as a liaison between departments.



Skills You Will Need

Project Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring all project timelines and deliverables are met.

Strong Communication Skills: Proficiency in building relationships and coordinating with cross-functional teams, internal and external partners, and leadership to ensure alignment on campaign strategies and execution.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in drafting briefs, managing project materials, tracking performance, and verifying campaign setups.

Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain detailed records, manage a shared drive, and ensure efficient access to project documents and results.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency in tracking and analyzing campaign performance using data visualization tools, summarizing data, and recommending improvements.

Problem-Solving: Capability to address issues that arise during the launch and execution of campaigns, ensuring a smooth production experience.

Adaptability: Ability to take initiative, respond to inquiries, and manage independent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Proficiency: Strong background in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with a preference for experience in digital, loyalty, or credit marketing.

Verbal & Written Communication: Excellent skills in presenting information, responding to questions, and maintaining clear and concise communication with various stakeholders.
