Fleet Administrator (Remote)

Job Summary:

The Fleet Administrator (FA) will provide direct support for the Burroughs fleet manager. In addition to supporting day-to-day fleet activities, the FA will regularly interface with Burroughs' fleet partners as well as field service managers and technicians. Key responsibilities include tracking and reporting of fleet related safety/compliance activities, and other key metrics. Will support and coordinate fleet moves, adds, changes as well as preventative maintenance schedules. This position will be a 100% remote opportunity.

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate administration of fleet vehicle assignments.
  • Support field compliance with preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Support administration of fleet fuel resources.
  • Tracking and reporting of short term and long term rentals.
  • Coordination of vehicle replacements, re-locations and disposition.
  • Tracking of corporate toll-tag assets and accounts.
  • Collecting and providing to department manager, and others as directed, weekly/monthly reporting (Financial performance, KPIs, exception data, and other management metrics)
  • Participate in the implementation of continuous process improvements within Supply Chain / Logistics.
  • Other projects and logistics support activities as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop and cell phone.
  • This role functions in a Hybrid environment, as defined from time to time by Burroughs, can included exclusively working from home as well exclusively in a professional office environment, or some combination of both.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in Fleet Management, Fleet Logistics or Vehicle related management functions is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to build positive and respectful working relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Microsoft office skills required, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Other systems skills (ERP) desirable.
  • Experience with continuous improvement activities desirable.
