Art Director (Shiseido)

Job Summary

The Art Director will report to the Executive Creative Director on the assigned brands, and will be responsible for creating campaigns, print media (as needed), and digital content for all platforms.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Thorough understanding of the Digital World and able to provide clear vision on how to execute content across assigned Brands.
• Photography and videography expertise (must be able to support a photoshoot).
• Responsible for concept, shooting (video & stills), and executing content.
• Participates in concepting campaigns for Brands.
• Must be fluid in UX design on all digital platforms.
• Works with Motion, VFX and Video Designers to enhance engagement value of digital projects.
• Designs and sets up print layouts for visual merchandising and any other print projects.
• Creates compelling website and landing page layouts for campaigns, product launches and promotions. Able to work closely with the ADX team to integrate innovative functionality to web designs.
• Supports in E-commerce projects and teams as needed.
• Understands business and industry.
• Has the ability to translate needs into unique and compelling creative digital concepts based on the approved strategy & budgets.
• Anticipate needs to identify solutions, future projects and increase the overall value of the Creative Team.
• Participates in brands meetings.
• Ensures all final work meets internal standards, and balance brand demands with participation in broader team initiatives.
• Interdepartmental collaboration to see projects through to completion.
• Fosters teamwork and a collaborative work environment. Inspires team morale and contributes to the overall Creative team culture.
  
  

Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders

• Member of the Creative team works with Brands, Integrated Creative Services, and Production.
  
  

Qualifications & Competencies

• 5 years of Digital experience
• Must be Brand-driven in all digital and print projects
• Demonstrated Photography and art direction experience
• Demonstrated ability to produce and drive results across all platforms
• Knows how to use/execute all programs that are needed to create digital and print content
• High taste level, and great aesthetic
