Hasbani & Light, P.C. is seeking a highly motivated associate attorney with at least 2 years of experience in real estate litigation and foreclosures, with a focus on creditor's rights. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional intelligence, self-motivation, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. Admission to the New York State Bar is an absolute requirement, and additional admission to the New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania State Bar is considered a valuable asset. Applicants who have not yet been admitted to the bar are kindly requested not to apply. This is an on-site role. The associate attorney will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Represent clients in real estate litigation cases, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and preparing for court appearances.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings, effectively advocating for our clients' interests.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop litigation strategies, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties to negotiate settlements, resolve disputes, and provide legal guidance.
• Stay updated on legal developments and changes in real estate laws and regulations, incorporating them into the practice as necessary.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New York state bar, New Jersey and Pennsylvania admission is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate litigation.
• Strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and litigation procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
