Associate Vice President

The primary responsibility of the associate vice president (AVP) is to lead Posse’s Career, Alumni, and Graduate School + Fellowships programs. The AVP will lead a team of three national directors: for Career, Alumni, and Graduate School + Fellowships. The AVP supports the ongoing development and implementation of each of these initiatives. Posse has selected more than 13,000 Scholars and has a growing alumni network of more than 8,000 emerging leaders. The AVP will be responsible for implementing innovative programming to support Posse Scholars and alumni as they pursue leadership positions in every sector of the workforce. To achieve our ambitious goals, the AVP will work closely with leaders on our national and local teams to ensure strong project management and program fidelity. The AVP will also lead the stewardship of critical national relationships with senior stakeholders from Posse’s growing portfolio of career partners. This role requires significant collaboration with Posse’s training team to support the development of local career program specialists who work directly with our growing network of Posse Scholars and alumni. In addition, there may be other duties as assigned.

The associate vice president is based in NYC and reports to the chief operating officer (COO).
