- Lead a team of Reiser Field Sales Representatives covering a specific geographic territory in the United States and assuming overall responsibilities for customer relationships, sales and gross profit within that region
- Facilitate the writing of quotations, finding product samples, monitoring the delivery of capital equipment machines sales through the Reiser Processing and Engineering Departments, ensuring that customers have machines shipped in a timely manner
- Assist the Field Sales Representatives by providing all information on product lines and Reiser internal processes
- Help build the relationship between Reiser sales staff and customers
- Mentor, train and develop the performance of all sales members in the region through coaching and training
- Travel roughly 20 to 30 percent with sales team as required
- Provide motivation, training and support to field sales representatives for the sales team
- Add value to the field sales team by helping develop sales and pricing strategy
- Assist/guild the field sales representative through machine tests and trials
- Five plus years selling capital equipment. Prior experience with food processing,food packaging equipment or theprotein (meat) industry is highly desirable
- Three plus years of experience leading capital equipment sales teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
- Experience in negotiating and meeting customer requirements
- In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics and best practices
- Excellent analytical, organizational, decision making and administrative skills
- Ability to operate both strategically and in the details
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work interactively and proactively across all levels of the organization
