MOMENTUM X seeks an inspired, visionary entrepreneur to build its latest new startup company, REGIMO. The company is currently in development and has secured initial startup capital.

REGIMO is a groundbreaking service-as-software platform designed to revolutionize the public procurement landscape for the 33.2 million small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), disadvantaged, and minority-owned and veteran-owned businesses in the United States. By automating the cumbersome registration process across thousands of federal, state, regional, and local government agencies, Regimo transforms this daunting task into a streamlined, user-friendly experience. This democratizes access to lucrative public contracts, enabling SMEs to compete more effectively for these opportunities.

As imagined, REGIMO leverages agentic AI, automating the registration process, ensuring that businesses can efficiently navigate and complete necessary registrations without the typical administrative burden. The platform features an intuitive, step-by-step interface that simplifies document submission, tracks application statuses in real-time, and provides powerful backend analytics. Its customizable platform might include actionable insights and notifications, keeping businesses informed and compliant with all regulatory requirements. Regimo also develops executable AI-enabled government procurement strategies tailored to the unique needs of its clients, ensuring that SMEs can effectively manage both the required registration and ongoing compliance.

Initially, our beachhead market will serve SMEs seeking to execute successful government procurement strategies in clean technology, advanced transportation, renewable energy, and grid and utility modernization—all well-positioned to capitalize on massive new government procurement spending in these areas.

We need your skills as a builder and entrepreneur, but you will not do this work alone. You will be uniquely positioned to succeed given the support of the Momentum X Venture Studio, which includes a deep and highly engaged bench of seasoned climate and cleantech finance professionals devoted to your success. You’ll also build upon and leverage a bevy of resources including deep industry and investor relationships, a best-in-class advisory team, top-tier developers and product strategists, subject matter expertise, and a host of back-office support functions including marketing, accounting, HR, and sales.

Requirements

As our Builder & CEO, you will be responsible for developing the strategic direction, growth and success of this venture-backed startup. You will be an effective operator adept at building and scaling a national business and managing responsibilities across a range of functions. You will define and embody an inclusive high-performing team culture, building up the organization with passionate fellow innovators who consider joy as a central theme of their work. You will represent Regimo externally, leading fundraising, customer acquisition, and investor relations. Internally you will oversee all aspects of goal-setting and tracking, product development, people management, and financial planning.

CEO Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan, including setting a clear vision, outlining a roadmap for success, and keeping the team focused on what matters most
  • Build and manage a team of advisors, employees, and contractors with the ability to quickly evaluate product-market fit, develop investable minimal marketable products, deploy and scale nationally and meet ambitious revenue goals
  • Drive fundraising and investor relations including identifying additional investors, creating and delivering compelling pitches, negotiating terms of investment, and managing ongoing relations to ensure continued support
  • Shape product development and leverage insights from customer engagements to rapidly refine and scale our offering to ensure strong customer experience and maintain brand reputation
  • Oversee all strategic and operational aspects of the business including finances, resourcing, business development, and infrastructure

  • Demonstrable experience playing a meaningful role in scaling early-stage start-ups and SaaS platforms
  • Subject matter expertise or working familiarity with public sector procurement and government contracting
  • 3+ years work experience in developing, building and/or managing SaaS startups or aspects of startups
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly digest a wide variety of technical concepts to identify high potential sources of commercial & impact value in the market
  • Familiarity with building financial models, pitch decks, and other materials to support fundraising and partnership opportunities
  • Propensity for team building & rallying stakeholders around a common goal & vision
  • Authentic commitment to developing sustainable climate solutions that are available to all

Benefits

The compensation will be commensurate with experience and capabilities, though we expect the range to be roughly $125,000+ annual salary with progressive increases based on outcomes, health insurance and founders equity in the company.
