Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Compensation: $120-140K + Bonus
Location: Long Beach, CA (3 days on-site)

As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner with a strong focus on compensation to join their team.
Position Overview:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) - Compensation Specialist will play a crucial role in aligning the organizations compensation strategies with their business objectives and ensuring that the organizations compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and effective. This individual will partner with business leaders to develop and implement compensation plans that support organizational goals while providing guidance on compensation-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy & Administration:
• Develop, implement, and manage compensation programs that align with company goals and industry best practices.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure our compensation packages are competitive and attractive.
• Design and administer salary structures, incentive plans, and pay-for-performance programs.
Consultation & Collaboration:
• Partner with business leaders and HR teams to provide expert advice on compensation-related matters, including salary negotiations, promotions, and equity adjustments.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify compensation needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Analyze compensation data to assess trends, identify gaps, and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare and present reports on compensation metrics, including benchmarking results and internal equity assessments.
Compliance & Governance:
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies related to compensation and benefits.
• Monitor and adjust compensation practices to comply with changing laws and regulations.
Employee Engagement & Communication:
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding compensation-related inquiries and concerns.
• Develop and deliver communication materials to educate employees on compensation programs and policies.
Continuous Improvement:
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current compensation programs and recommend enhancements to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging practices to keep our compensation strategies innovative and competitive.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on compensation, including experience in developing and managing compensation programs.
• Strong knowledge of compensation theory, practices, and industry trends.
• Proven ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
