You are a highly organized, detail-oriented Facility Operations Coordinator who is ready to be a key contributor to a growing company. You believe excellence is in the details and take a hands-on approach to ensure company facilities management programs and projects are completed efficiently and effectively. POSITION SUMMARY

Execute the efficient operation of facilities management activities, including procurement, inventory management, dispatching, deploying resources, and following up on work orders. This role ensures that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards through effective coordination, quality control, and communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.


SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Facilities Management

  • Uses ticketing software program to respond to issues, deploy resources, and communicate resolution.
  • Coordinates routine preventative and as-needed maintenance of facilities.
  • Manages vendor relationships and various outsourced personnel to ensure maintenance issues are resolved to satisfaction and in accordance with service level agreements and not-to-exceed thresholds.
  • Solicits and evaluates bids, selecting vendors for approval as needed.
  • Owns inventory management for on-site and off-site storage, ensuring accurate tracking and optimization of resources.
  • Procures facility-related supplies and services.
  • Manages site security monitoring systems, janitorial services, and utilities.
  • Ensures compliance with safety standards and local, state and federal requirements.
  • Adapts communication to effectively engage and collaborate with cross-departmental team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Uses data and experience to drive effective decision-making.


New Store Openings

  • Coordinates departmental support for new store openings, remodels and special company projects.


Emergency Assistance

  • Is immediately available to assist with any property emergency as requested such as fire, or weather emergency.
  • Responsible for overseeing the emergency plans implemented for each site.

  • COMMUNICATION: Excellent written and verbal communication. Adjusts communication to effectively communicate with members, vet issues, deploy resources, and manage vendor follow-up. Presents information in a clear and concise manner; and listens attentively to information.
  • ADAPTABILITY: Must be extremely flexible to manage multiple projects and priorities in a rapidly changing environment to create a positive outcome. Embraces the dynamic nature of a growing company, approaching each day as a new adventure. Comfortable working non-traditional hours to accommodate the variable schedules of a retail environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Position Location: Based out of Houston office. Ability to travel to store locations in Houston, DFW, San Antonio, Austin, and New Braunfels as business needs require.
  • Education: High school
  • Experience:3+ years of demonstrated experience managing facility projects.
  • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent oral and written English communication skills, planning and organization skills, and negotiation skills. Good mathematical and interpersonal skills. Ability to use electronic databases to manage complex facility projects effectively – proficient in excel, word and power point application. Basic knowledge of building maintenance activities, including HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and salon equipment and maintenance repair. Familiarity with Service Channel or comparable software preferred.
  • Physical Conditions: Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to hear and speak clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to ascend a 20-foot vertical ladder and lift 25-50 lbs. May require walking on unfinished floors, and locations under construction. Must be able to transport boxes, move furniture and small equipment.

COMPENSATION:

This role is a full-time salaried position with bonus potential and growth opportunity. MY SALON Suite Texas provides team members with a full suite of benefits including health, dental, and vision. A 401K is available, as are paid personal days. Team member must have access to reliable transportation and must reside in Houston, Texas.
