Medical Director

Job Summary:

Reporting to the CEO, the Medical Director will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to our HR Employer Solutions Group's medical department in New York, New York. The Medical Director will serve as the primary medical expert and will work closely with clients, healthcare providers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality medical services. As an individual contributor, the Medical Director will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's overall success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the medical department
  • Serve as the primary medical expert for the organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical services
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their healthcare needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Stay updated with the latest medical trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Manage and oversee a team of medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and medical assistants
  • Conduct trainings and educational sessions for staff and clients on various medical topics
  • Foster strong relationships with healthcare providers and vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of services
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of the medical department
  • Monitor and analyze medical department data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions
  • Participate in networking events and conferences to represent the organization and promote its services


Requirements:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Active medical license in the state of New York
  • At least 5 years of experience in a medical leadership role
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality medical services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
