Contract Health Editor (Hybrid)

We are partnering with a leading organization to find experienced Content Editors for a contract role, focused on creating engaging and informative health content for a general consumer audience. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in editing digital health content tailored specifically for consumers.

Location: Remote (Mon & Fri) / Onsite in Atlanta, GA (Tues, Wed, Thurs) – Local candidates only

Contract Details:

• Type: W2 Contract
• Duration: 4 months, with potential to extend

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the development, quality control, and timely delivery of custom sponsored health content.
• Ensure content accuracy, high quality, and adherence to editorial standards.
• Oversee and edit assignments from freelance writers.
• Collaborate with project managers, editorial teams, medical reviewers, and designers to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Utilize content management systems (CMS) and project management tools to streamline editorial workflows.
• Translate complex medical information into clear, accessible language for a general audience.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience editing consumer-focused health content.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in both remote and onsite environments.
• Must be able to provide samples of work featuring consumer-focused health content.
