Strategic Growth Advisors is a Business Development and advisory shared services firm providing fractional support across the entire business development lifecycle. Their services along with other sister companies, include facilitating entrance and expansion in the federal market, ensuring compliance with certifications, and offering operational support in HR, accounting, and IT. They also specialize in business development services tailored for federal contractors. Further, they provide a comprehensive suite of advisory services to all small business firms such as 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, Tribal, Hawaiian, and ANC organizations.


They are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to drive and support revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales and relationship development, particularly within the B2B sector, with a strong preference for experience in the federal contracting marketplace. Familiarity with engaging and supporting the indigenous community—specifically Alaskan, Tribal, or Native Hawaiian populations along with 8(a), SDVOSB, WOBV and HUBZone is a valuable asset.


This role primarily focuses on new customer acquisition and related activities, such as prospecting, pipeline development, sales presentations, and customer relationship management. The Sales Executive will also engage with various division leads and P&L owners within SGA and each of their sister companies. Please note that this position is exclusively dedicated to B2B sales and does not involve direct government sales.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales and Business Development:

  • Propel B2B sales by effectively promoting and selling our comprehensive range of fractional advisory and support services.
  • Design and implement strategic sales plans to expand our client base and boost revenue.
  • Foster and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in tribal 8(a) and commercial organizations.


Strategic Recommendations:

  • Evaluate client needs and business operations to deliver customized strategic recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance clients’ operations through our services, focusing on developing innovative marketing strategies and optimizing technological infrastructure.


Client Consultation:

  • Connect with potential and current clients to grasp their business challenges and goals.
  • Showcase how our services can meet their needs and provide valuable solutions.
  • Follow up regularly to ensure ongoing support and foster strong relationships.


Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment of client needs and service delivery.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in B2B sales, complemented by a robust operational and strategic support services background.
  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated success in selling to B2B organizations, with a firm grasp of business operations, marketing strategies, technological infrastructure, and compliance requirements.
  • Skills: Outstanding sales and negotiation abilities, paired with strong analytical skills and strategic thinking. Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively presenting and articulating complex solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Expertise in pipeline development and CRM management is essential for this role.
  • Location: Must be based in the DMV market (D.C., Maryland, Virginia).
