Electrical & Avionic Design Engineer I

Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide engineering support to production activity in order to meet AWPC safety, quality, delivery and cost targets. This position requires good knowledge of the rotorcraft avionic installations as well as the standard aeronautical electrical installation design procedures. Daily duties include, but are not limited to, supporting assembly and fabrication of all AWPC helicopter lines, with problem solving in fit/form/function questions and technical issues coordinating the solution within the LH design dept. The Electrical Design Engineer, is also responsible for drafting or review electrical installations for helicopter customizations and completions, in compliance with EASA and FAA regulations, using the applicable design tools (CCD – CATIA V4/V5 – VPM – DBT – DBE/SIEL).

Responsibilities:

• Support flight line giving solution for the non conformities to meet the aircraft delivery plans
• Preparation and modification of technical document (NI, CR, PP)
• Design Engineering liaison for manufacturing
• Support to EID –ITA Department for configuration feasibility

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required

Experience:

• 0 - 3 years of experience in engineering environment, preferably aerospace.
