Lead Architect

Job Overview:

The Lead Architect will play a crucial role in driving the design and development of architectural projects within the organization. This position involves overseeing multiple projects, managing architectural operations, and ensuring that all design work aligns with the firm's strategic objectives. The Lead Architect will collaborate with clients, manage project teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Design and Development:
    • Lead the design process from conceptual studies to construction documents.
    • Ensure designs meet client needs and adhere to industry standards and regulations.
    • Develop innovative architectural solutions that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
    • Actively participate in marketing and business development activities to attract new clients.
    • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality design and maintaining open communication.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Manage, direct, and mentor junior architects and project managers.
    • Foster a collaborative and engaging work environment.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with graphics software such as SketchUp, Lumion, or Photoshop, Bluebeam etc.
  • Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to foster a positive work culture and motivate team members.
