Position Description:

The HR Staffing Partner (HRSP) aligns business staffing objectives with potential candidates with designated business units. The HRSP serves as a staffing partner to management on recruitment, staffing, and workforce development related issues. Successful HRSP will act as a champion and change agent. The HRSP assesses and anticipates Workforce-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HRSP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The HRSP formulates partnerships across the organization to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRSP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units staffing, financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture, and its competition.

This position is responsible for building and maintaining external relationships with colleges and universities as well as recruiting and staffing firms. Employee must be available to travel up to 25% to different cities and states.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages the employee selection process by writing and submitting advertisements, preparing job postings, screening candidates, writing job descriptions, profiles, interview criteria and questions, scheduling interviews and explaining agency benefits to applicants, performing reference checks, making job offers and preparing offer and rejection letters.
  • Maintain relationships with staffing agencies, recruiting firms and advertising and sourcing agencies.
  • Creates and manages agency staffing plan for each department.
  • Serves as liaison between hiring manager and both internal and external applicants.
  • Represents Human Resources in outside recruiting endeavors.
  • Ensure yearly recruitment of interns and/or student placements to meet department plans.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with managers to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Establishes relationships and maintains quarterly contact at colleges and university career development offices, social work, and nursing programs.
  • Manage recruitment of Emerging Professionals Program to ensure a yearly class starting in June consisting of at least eight people (unless otherwise noted by VP).
  • Conduct and attend community, career, and college fairs, and events, maintain a monthly calendar of events.


Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology, business, or related fields of study
  • Healthcare recruitment and staffing a plus
  • Excellent computer skills required (MS Office preferred).
  • Excellent communication and conflict management skills at all levels.
  • Excellent consultation skills with the ability to listen and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships to gain support and achieve results.
  • Ability to effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues.
  • Ability to take initiative to identify and anticipate customer needs and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Project management skills.


Pay: Starting at $47,500. Pay based upon experience and education.
