Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to... Manage and mentor the Quality Assurance Functions by establishing and monitoring in process and post process quality Inspections measured against the specified materials and production variables. Interaction with Managers and Associates from Production, Pre-Press, Accounting, Customer Service, Sales, Logistics and Materials & Equipment Suppliers on a daily basis. Manage & interact routinely with Genflex Production Manager, Pre-Press Manager, Bindery Manager, and manufacturing associates as need be, to establish quality standards for raw materials, work in process, best practices, and finished products. Build upon and drive a robust quality tracking system improving our efficiency, increasing productivity, eliminating duplicate production errors, reducing waste and the number of quality non-conformance incidences utilizing reportable metrics. Develop and execute a quality strategy for the operation that will enable the team to meet the requirements of our customers and the operating plan of the business.

We want to be "on time - on spec - on budget" Ensure annual quality goals are on-track and communicated. Responsibility for all Quality Documentation and the maintenance of policies and procedures necessary to insure the Quality Objectives are met.

Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.

Partner cross-functionally to drive standardization and a continuous improvement mindset. Serve as one of the lead members of our HACCP annual certification team - assist with all aspects of the annual HACCP audit Improve product consistency. Lead cross-functional teams on data analysis and quality improvement projects. Attend pre-flight meetings to assist in the successful on-boarding of new customers, products, processes, production orders, and programs. Other duties as may be assigned or developed. Required Skills Requirements: Minimum 3 years quality control experience preferably in a printing operation but fast paced manufacturing experience will also be considered. A strong desire and high motivation level to learn our operational capabilities for flexographic and digital label printing, finishing and packaging. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact well with machine operators, line workers, management, equipment technicians and material suppliers. Strong organizational skills as you will be responsible for receiving, analyzing quality conformance failures to prevent their reoccurring. Excellent computer skills - especially Excel spreadsheet and charting. Compensation: The initial salary that we will be determined based upon experience and skill sets. All employees receive a life insurance policy with a face value of $50,000.

Short Term and Long Term Disability coverage is paid for by the company. A Company sponsored and fully funded Profit-Sharing-Plan is provided with a one-year service requirement for enrollment and a five-year vesting period to become fully vested.

The company sponsors a qualified 401K plan, with 25% employer matching to Federal limits.

A one-year service requirement applies to this plan as well.

(You may, however, roll over any proceeds from an existing qualified fund into our 401k plan at any time).
