Position Overview:


WeCannBe is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curriculum Designer to develop comprehensive certification programs in financial literacy, digital technology, and real estate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, curriculum development, and practical application of educational content. This role is crucial in ensuring our programs meet the highest educational standards and provide learners with the skills needed to succeed in today’s economy.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Curriculum Development:

• Design and develop detailed curricula for financial literacy, digital technology, and real estate certification programs.

• Ensure curricula include real-life applications, case studies, and practical exercises that enhance learning and skill acquisition.

• Align curricula with industry standards, certification requirements, and best practices.

2. Content Creation:

• Develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, syllabi, assessments, and multimedia resources, to support the curriculum.

• Incorporate various teaching methods, such as interactive modules, hands-on activities, and group projects, to engage learners.

• Create certification exams and assessments that accurately measure learners’ mastery of the content.

3. Program Implementation:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructors, and industry professionals to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the curriculum content.

• Work closely with the WeCannBe team to integrate the curriculum into the nonprofit’s educational platform and delivery methods.

• Provide guidance and support to instructors and facilitators on how to effectively deliver the curriculum.

4. Continuous Improvement:

• Regularly review and update curricula to reflect changes in industry trends, certification requirements, and feedback from learners and instructors.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum through learner outcomes, assessments, and feedback, and make necessary adjustments.

• Stay informed about new developments in financial literacy, digital technology, and real estate to ensure the curriculum remains current and relevant.

5. Compliance and Accreditation:

• Ensure that all curricula meet the necessary accreditation standards and comply with any applicable educational regulations.

• Work with accreditation bodies, if necessary, to secure recognition for the certification programs.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Proven experience in curriculum design and development, particularly in financial literacy, digital technology, or real estate.

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

• Experience in developing certification programs and aligning them with industry standards.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems (LMS).
