Certified Quality Engineer @ New Milford, Connecticut(1099 CONTRACTOR)

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the transformer repair process at Neeltran Inc.
  • Report inspection results and status
  • Confirm and report any findings and their solutions
  • Daily and weekly reports will be submitted using Microsoft Word or Excel.


Technical Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in working as a certified Quality Engineer
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • In-depth knowledge of transformer components and repair techniques
  • Familiarity with IEEE C57.12 and IEC 60076 standards


Certifications needed:

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) by ASQ or equivalent
  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) by ASQ
  • Certified Electrical Inspector (CEI) by IAEI or similar
  • OSHA Safety Certification (OSHA 30-hour General Industry or similar)


Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the inspection and repair of transformers.
  • Previous experience working with heavy industries, especially in a quality control/inspection capacity.
  • Comply with all professional ProQC and manufacturing site guidelines and safety requirements.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.


Job type: 1099 CONTRACT (part time)

Working setting: in person location New Milford, Connecticut 06776, USA

Shift Hours: Current Project is 3 weeks, 6-8 hours per day || Contractor will do another Project in New Milford, Connecticut (or nearby areas) as and when offered.
