- Oversee the credentialing and privileging process for medical staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review the work of your team to maintain high standards
- Provide crucial support to medical staff leaders in assessing provider competency
- Conduct thorough audits of individual applications to maintain a credible and robust process
- Lead and participate in key meetings, including Joint Credential Committee agenda preparation
- Drive process improvement initiatives and standardization efforts
- Foster a culture of excellence and professionalism within the Medical Staff Office
- Ensure all licenses under your supervision are in good standing
- High School Diploma or equivalent (higher education in a related field is a plus)
- 5-7 years of credentialing experience
- CPCS or CPMSM certification through NAMSS (required)
- Proven experience in credentialing, privileging, and quality assurance
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Sharp critical thinking and judgment capabilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Outgoing and personable demeanor
- Willingness to receive yearly flu shot during flu season
