Financial Reporting Manager

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry, based in Dallas, Texas. As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be tasked with various responsibilities revolving around financial data management, fund accounting, and usage of specific software like Workiva, MS Word, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle the accurate and efficient processing of financial data for numerous US and EMEA Funds.
• Utilize Workiva for developing financial reports, ensuring the correct import and export of data, charts, and graphs.
• Collaboratively work with the investor reporting team to ensure the correct movement of financial data.
• Pay close attention to detail while managing financial documents, ensuring the correct application of fonts, colors, and graphics.
• Manage the transfer of fund annual financial statements into Workiva, mirroring both Word and Excel Workbooks.
• Ensure all transferred elements such as fonts, graphs, etc., are correct and properly formatted.
• Upon completion of one set of financials, transition smoothly to the next set.
• Utilize skills in Annual Financial Reporting, MS Word, Microsoft Excel, and Fund Accounting to accomplish tasks efficiently.
• Maintain consistent communication with relevant teams and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Continually monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in using Workiva software for financial reporting and compliance
• Extensive experience in annual financial reporting within the real estate property or facilities management industry
• Proficient in using MS Word for creating and editing documents
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data to support business decision-making
• Experience in Fund Accounting, with the ability to manage financial transactions associated with a fund
• Ability to collaborate with various teams and departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial information to stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are beneficial
• Proven experience in a managerial role within a financial department is advantageous.
