Why This Role is Important to Talogy

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, People Operations you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the people function and stakeholder group primarily within North America. This role will act as a true partner to the leaders in the region, enabling them to drive people performance and engagement across their teams. You are a real people person and will be responsible for the full generalist remit, covering advisory, employee relations, performance management as well as working on specific global People Operations projects. You must have a clear understanding of the business and be able to advice both managers and employees effectively, whilst maintaining a commercial view.

What You Will Do ..

In your role you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Building strong professional relationships with people across all levels of the business by providing first class support and advise on all people related matters
  • Proactively partnering with key senior stakeholders to achieve a people strategy that supports the delivery of company objectives
  • Coaching and developing line managers to become confident and self-sufficient in people matters
  • Providing professional support and advice on a range of Employee Relations matters, ensuring managers are fully equipped to conduct meetings
  • Leading and advise on all grievances, redundancies and settlements agreements; escalating where appropriate
  • Providing lead support and advice in the implementation of organisational change projects ensuring that a consistent approach is maintained in areas such as workforce planning, roles changes, or office relocations
  • Supporting the talent acquisition team to make sure all requirements are filled in line with business needs
  • Supporting the L&D team with initiatives and their roll-out across Talogy
  • Helping to implement global initiatives such as pulse surveys to develop high employee engagement
  • Actively identifying gaps, proposing and implementing changes to process and procedures to ensure we continually deliver a great people experience
  • Providing reports to the business regarding People metrics
  • Supporting in developing other team members, sharing knowledge and coaching where appropriate
  • Managing all vendor relationships with third parties in North America
  • Being responsible for any audit and compliance requirements related to People Operations in North America

  • Demonstrate depth in core areas of talent management, employee engagement, people development, employee relations, and compensation and benefits
  • Have excellent interpersonal, and communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Have the ability to coach individuals and influence key stakeholders
  • Are a natural presenter who is comfortable facilitating workshops and meetings
