Responsibilities

The Test Manager will provide test management and engineering support to the Light Air Attack Program Office (AFLCMC/WID) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH in support of SOCOM PEO-FW program Armed Overwatch.

• Responsible for coordinating test activities with the LDTO, OT, and vendor test teams.
• Managing/participation in Test Planning Working Groups, Deficiency Review boards, and input into scheduling IMS test items.
• Coordinate PMO engineering data needs with LDTO, OT, and vendor test teams for verification and certification of the platform per the CDD, VCRM, and system specification.
• Provide engineering input to the execution of Link-16 and JITC certification activities for OA-1K.
• Provide technical input to Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and perform technical evaluation of the vendor provided proposals to accomplish ECPs.
• Travel routinely in support of program meetings and activities in support of test meetings, engineering reviews, programmatic meetings, facility inspections, and test activities.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering relevant field
• TS Required, SCI Eligible
• 10+ Years experience providing engineering support to either a program office or directly to a military program.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

Previous test manager experience or program office test experience. Knowledge of the military airworthiness process. Understanding of the interdependencies between engineering, test, and program management activities of a US military acquisition.
