Job Overview:

We are seeking a visionary marketing leader to elevate our marketing strategy, overseeing performance creative, customer acquisition, lifetime value (LTV), and eCommerce efforts. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive innovation to achieve business growth and long-term success. The ideal candidate excels in coaching their team to bring strategy to life from conception through execution, reporting, and testing, guided by consumer behavior and analytical insights. Experience working for a CPG D2C brand is required.


Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that integrates performance creative, paid media, LTV, and eCommerce initiatives to drive company growth.
  • Provide leadership and direction to senior managers across different marketing functions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Pressure test each team’s approach, monitoring performance with your own POV to guide overall efforts.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the executive team, offering insights and recommendations to shape the company’s growth trajectory.

Focus Areas:

  • Oversee performance, ensuring that all marketing assets effectively communicate the company's value proposition and efficiently acquire customers.
  • Guide the development and optimization of paid search and performance marketing strategies, ensuring they are data-driven and aligned with growth goals.
  • Set the vision and direction for performance marketing, while effectively pressure testing and coaching how senior managers handle execution and day-to-day management.
  • Lead the development of strategies to increase customer lifetime value and reduce churn, working closely with the product and customer success teams.
  • Oversee the implementation of retention initiatives, ensuring they are integrated into the overall marketing strategy.
  • Provide strategic oversight for eCommerce marketing, focusing on initiatives that drive online sales and enhance the customer experience.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Utilize data and analytics to guide strategic marketing decisions, providing the executive team with insights on performance and opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee the creation of comprehensive performance reports, leveraging them to refine and adjust marketing strategies.
  • Stay up to date on consumer and industry trends to ensure we’re maintaining our marketing edge.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Foster strong collaboration across departments, including sales, product, creative, and analytics, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance the customer journey and drive company-wide growth.


Qualifications:

  • Must have strong CPG D2C experience
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing leadership, with a focus on growth, paid search, LTV, and eCommerce.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies at a senior level.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring senior managers.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, with the ability to guide complex projects from concept to execution.
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, creative direction, and customer retention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and drive change.
