Help out in any area of HR, including compensation & benefits, employee engagement, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, employee leaves, payroll, and training & development
Wear many hats in a small company that is growing and changing in an effort to get better every day
Support leadership in decision-making related to people management, while applying HR best practices and devising strategies in line with company goals and objectives, ensuring company growth as well as employee wellbeing
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, new technologies, regulatory changes, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to maintain compliance, improve efficiencies, and mitigate risk
What skills do you need?
At least 10 years experience in Human Resources
Significant employee relations experience at a decision-making level

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
A willingness to take ownership when you mess up
What might a typical day look like?
Each day can vary and be unpredictable at times, so the ideal candidate will be agile and willing to pivot and reprioritize their work as needs change and issues arise. You will follow up on emails/answer questions and inquiries, work on a variety of projects, touch base with leaders and employees, attend meetings and educational trainings/webinars, participate in interviewing job applicants, review HR policies with new hires, handle employee relations issues, and handle/assist with daily routine HR administrative tasks.
