Coach, counsel, and hold employees accountable to standard work instructions
Prepare and manage data for customer audits (FCCA, SCS, etc.)
Prepare a daily audit for quality inspection and report the results
Identification of the cause of quality issues and improvement activities (Internal audit)
Aggregate and manage quality team KPIs
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform daily foam inspection and manage data - Report and share with the relevant department
Manage and update QC samples (Keeping sample, Final sample, CTL sample etc.). Utilize QMS to monitor and identify emerging quality trends and communicate the trends to the relevant department
Root cause analysis and corrective actions with coordinating with Foam Mattress team in the event of a defect
Third-party inspection (BV inspection) progress and monitoring
Provide quality issue training to inspectors
Work with EHS and continuously monitor to maintain a safe workplace
Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to mindustry and company standards
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assumes other duties as assigned by the Vice President
PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:
Associate or Bachelor’s in Engineering, Chemical or related discipline
5+ years of Quality control, Quality assurance, Quality Lab and/or environmental safety supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Thorough knowledge of quality practices and procedures including Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO requirements
Strong background in Quality Lab Testing
Ability to understand Urethane and Foam or similar process
Ability to understand Foam & Mattress test standard
Knowledge in ERP (SAP)
Strong foundation of analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated experience with all MS Office products; with proficiency in Excel to extract and analyze data
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including great communication with employees
Audit experience preferred

Must be able to access and work in production and lab environment
