RBW Consulting working closely with a rapidly growing biotech company based in the Boston / Cambridge region for a newly created position.

This exciting Gene Therapy / CRISPR focused organization have had great success already in the clinic, with strong progress in their ongoing trial.

Due to a rapidly increasing product portfolio, with multiple compounds coming through in development, there is a large amount of further headcount to take place this year, with multiple hires to be made within the Pharmacovigilance and wider R&D group.

The Senior Medical Director will have a highly visible role within the PV group, and will oversee one of the company’s major products, and will encompass both Development to Post Marketing stage studies.

The successful candidate will be required to be heavily hands on but may in future have some oversight of more junior Pharmacovigilance Scientists Therefore, proven experience within PV/Risk Management work, with prior experience in Submissions/Filings would be a major advantage.

Gene / Cell therapy / Immuno-Oncology experience is not required but is preferred. This biotech have excellent Science, are very well funded and have a very experience leadership team in place.

This position can be fully remote.

Experience required:

--MD Trained (board certification strongly preferred)

--Excellent background in Clinical Safety/Risk Management •

--Ability to work comfortably in a “hands on” setting

--Clinical Experience

--Proven background in Submissions/Filings (Preferred)
