Our client, a well-established financial institution known for its comprehensive range of financial products and services, is seeking a talented Digital Designer for a short-term freelance assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and updating conceptually strong multimedia content that supports corporate communications. You'll apply your innovative thinking and deep understanding of design technology to produce creative assets that align with the company's communication goals and business priorities.

Additionally, you will assist in organizing and maintaining the in-house video and photo production studio and its equipment, ensuring seamless multimedia production across the department and in collaboration with business partners throughout the organization. You Will:

  • Collaborate with designers and project stakeholders to design and edit materials in one or more channels, including print, digital, video, audio, and social
  • Review product ready materials with creative leads and publish content to communications channels
  • Adhere to project filing protocols and naming conventions
  • Understand project details and ensure that work is error free prior to submittal
  • Partner with creative leads on timeline and deliverables to produce effective content under tight deadlines
  • Review client and legal feedback and incorporate into creative
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining the company's in-house video/photo production studio and equipment
  • Interpret and follow production plans, shot lists, and equipment lists

You Have:

  • Advertising, marketing, graphic design, or video production
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and graphic design applications including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of video and audio production applications including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with photo and video equipment: digital photography, digital video cameras, audio recording equipment, and studio lighting
  • An understanding of digital media file formats and qualities
  • Web design and computer science familiarity (a plus)
  • Knowledge of creative project management systems (a plus)

Logistics:

  • Projected Start Date: Sept 30th or as soon as the right candidate is identified
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Hours/Week: 40 hours per week
  • Onsite/offsite: Hybrid
  • Laptop/Program Requirements: a laptop will be provided for you

  • Salary/Rate: up to $42 PAY per hour
