Our client is a global leader in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of a wide range of medical device products. Backed by a top-tier private equity group, the company is poised for continued growth (both M&A and organic) as they pursue further market expansion domestically and abroad.

They are seeking a Global Controller to lead the function, reporting to the CFO. The Company has a strong senior leadership team in place and they are looking to add key management with critical roles like this. This individual will make a significant impact as they further hone the Corporate Accounting function across systems, processes, and people. We are seeking a manufacturing based Accounting leader that has worked in a private equity, growth environment.

We are seeking an established, Corporate Controller, who has operated in a $250MM+ PE backed manufacturing environment. This includes leadership of financial planning and analysis covering both historical and projected operating results. The controller will also lead management of cash and working capital. This position will include extensive interaction with investors and lenders, and success will require initiative, collaboration and talent development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• CPA certification required
• 10+ years of experience in public and industry accounting
• 10+ years managing a global accounting team
• 5+ years’ experience managing internal controls
• Excellent technical knowledge of accounting, GAAP, and audit processes
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including advanced Excel skills
• Global team management experience (AP, AR, Accounting Analysts)
• Experience leading transformations of financial systems and processes to gain efficiencies.
• A self-starter with excellent time management skills (meets deadlines)
• Collaborative, results oriented team player
• Manufacturing industry experience as well as awareness and sensitivity to global markets
• OneStream experience is a plus
• Knowledge of US taxes and sales taxes is a plus
