About the job:

Let It Grow, Inc. has an immediate full-time opening for a Chief Financial Officer of the company. We are seeking candidates who will work well in a team-oriented, fast paced environment. The CFO will oversee financial planning, management, and reporting, drive financial strategy and performance, and manage business and health insurance policies. They will work closely with the CEO and executive team to ensure the company’s financial health and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
    • Analyze insurance and benefit utilization for cost savings and improvements.
  • Financial Management & Reporting:
    • Oversee accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and present financial statements and reports.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
    • Implement risk management strategies and internal controls.
    • Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Work with CPA firm to ensure tax compliance and manage tax filings.
    • Coordinate with external tax advisors for planning and audit activities.
  • Insurance Procurement & Management:
    • Evaluate and purchase business insurance policies.
    • Maintain relationships with insurance providers and vendors.
  • Employee Benefits Administration:
    • Design and administer employee benefit programs.
    • Negotiate with providers for competitive rates and packages.
  • Strategic Planning & Decision Support:
    • Collaborate with the CEO on strategic plans and initiatives.
    • Provide financial insights for business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Process Improvement & Automation:
    • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead and develop the finance and HR teams.
    • Foster a culture of financial discipline and continuous improvement.
  • Accounts Receivable & Payable Management:
    • Supervise invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
    • Maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
Education:

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly desirable
Experience required:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership position, such as CFO, VP of Finance, or Director of Finance.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience in managing financial operations, including accounting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Experience in tax compliance and working with external tax advisors and auditors.
  • Experience in insurance procurement and management, including negotiating and purchasing business insurance policies.
  • Experience in employee benefits administration and working with HR to design and implement benefit programs.

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop finance and HR teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including insurance providers, benefit vendors, and customers.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable terms and rates for insurance and benefit programs.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
