Job Title: Logistics/Dispatch Coordinator

Overview:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our trucking dispatch team remotely. Your role involves coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods, and maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch Coordination:
    • Assist the dispatch team in planning and coordinating transportation routes
    • Ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
    • Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to resolve any issues or delays
  • Shipment Management:
    • Review shipment materials and documents for accuracy
    • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery
    • Make special shipping arrangements as necessary
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics
    • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to logistics operations
    • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Adaptability:
    • Be able to adapt and adjust to the dynamic needs of the business
Qualifications:

  • Professional English fluency
  • Must be able to effectively communicate via phone call
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. (Nice to have)
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in logistics coordination, trucking dispatch or a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
