Manager, Global PR

Job Description

We are searching for an enthusiastic Manager of Global PR to support press, celebrity/VIP, influencer relations + events. As the Manager of Global PR at ILIA, you must be passionate, organized, dedicated, and forward-thinking.

This role is hybrid for candidates based in New York City.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international press activity and act as day-to-day contact across multiple PR and Influencer/VIP agencies
• Help to scale ILIA presence and raise brand awareness across global markets
• Build out ILIA makeup artistry program to educate, inspire and build awareness through content creation and sponsored opportunities
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, social and digital teams to amplify content across paid partners
• Cultivate authentic relationships with editorial partners across both digital and print
• Support PR agencies’ needs by fulfilling and managing product orders, samples + timelines for both core and new launches
• Manage PR calendar across global markets and build out timelines to ensure materials (press release, toolkits, mailers) are prepared in a timely manner
• Manage project briefs, contracts and deliverables for agencies and artists, ensuring they are organized and meet deadlines
• Support Sr. Influencer & Partnerships Manager with new product launches across paid influencer touchpoints
• Manage all global PR events to ensure flawless execution
• Measure and report weekly, monthly and quarterly press recaps
• Maintain a pulse on competitive brands, trends and new ideas
• Manage PR budget & track invoices
• Bring new ideas to the table to help ILIA and scale by testing and learning across all platforms
  
  

Job requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in communications, PR, celebrity/VIP, marketing or influencers relations, preferably in beauty
• Network of existing relation influencer, artist, and editorial relationships
• Experience working with or managing multiple agencies
• Strong passion for building relationships and cultivating community
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Drive to innovate and push boundaries, constantly seeking new ways to engage our community and push brand across multiple touchpoints
• Creative, problem-solver who is self-motivated and resourceful with a positive, can-do attitude
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented and familiar with Google Sheets, Excel, etc.
• Strong understanding of the digital beauty landscape
• Prior experience in growing and scaling a digital community is a huge plus
