General Manager / CEO – Property Casualty Insurance

Our client is a growing regional insurance company looking to expand their market presence in California, Oregon, Arizona and Washington States. They have retained RJR Executive Search to find a talented General Manager/CEO lead their organization.

The selected candidate will have a broad and comprehensive knowledge of all matters related to the personal lines insurance industry with a focus on creating business opportunities through effective management, new business development, and strategic leadership skills.

This position requires the selected individual to reside in Central California and be able to work in the office several days a week.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field.
• A master's degree and/or insurance designations (CPCU, SCLA, etc.) preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in an insurance leadership role.
• Proven success at leading P&C insurance operations at all levels, driving growth and surplus strength.
• A strategic leader who can take the helm when warranted and lead from behind as needed.
• Results-oriented and adaptable with a strategic mentality.
• Possesses a servant leader style, is constantly learning, and can emulate the Company’s values.
• A critical thinker with an entrepreneurial drive.
• In-depth knowledge of market research methods and analysis.
• Collaborative decision-making style.
• Skilled at bringing a team together to move them in one direction.
