Position Description

A multi-office law firm is seeking a Manager of Administrative Services to oversee administrative functions for the New York office. This position will involve managing, hiring, and training professionals across Facilities, Word Processing, Reception, and Legal Secretarial Services, as well as conducting performance reviews and ensuring coverage during absences. The Manager will be responsible for approving timecards and vacation requests, soliciting feedback from attorneys and other departmental leaders, and supporting onboarding and integration efforts for new hires. Additionally, this person will coordinate services with vendors and ensure the overall safety and compliance of the office.

Required Skills

This position requires at least five years of management experience within a law firm as well as exceptional communication, project management, and leadership skills. The successful applicant will demonstrate a proactive work ethic, the ability to think strategically, and a clear understanding of leave administration and state and federal employment laws. The firm is also seeking someone who can foster positive relationships across departments while exercising highly effective time management and organizational skills.

Annual Salary (US$): 160,000-185,000 /annual
