Job Description

You’ll join Xplor Field Services - the team that develops business management software for the Field Service Industry. We offer business owners an all-in-one software system, which handles scheduling, invoicing, and customer service responsibilities. Our software helps thousands of contractors and field service entrepreneurs build highly profitable businesses – with less stress, and better control over their growth.

We are looking for a Manager of Training to oversee the operations of the Field Services training team. The responsibilities of this position are outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and empower the Training team to be successful in their roles
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure training events are messaged to the customer base frequently and effectively
  • Responsible for budget, driving to team goals, and communicating to finance monthly on team performance
  • Identify and assess training needs for employees, and ensuring training programs and materials are current, accurate, and effective
  • Monitoring and evaluating training programs for quality and effectiveness, and making recommendations for improvement
  • Stay up to date with training trends, methods, and techniques as well as industry needs
  • Foster a positive team culture and participate in team development including hiring, onboarding, career development and performance management
  • Plan the learning and development events for the year ahead based on budget and customer needs
  • Research, book, and organize all live training events coordinating all logistical details
  • Work with subject matter experts to create client-facing training webinars & materials
  • Deliver training on the FieldEdge products and features remotely and in person through onsite and regional training events as needed
  • Assist in updating training course materials and website training content
  • Assist with development of internal training for new and existing employees empowering the internal trainers to build effective courses and materials in UKG Learning Pro

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years’ experience with software training
  • Minimum of two years’ experience with the FieldEdge platform
  • Proven customer-facing skills
  • Passion for mentoring, leading and contributing to the professional development of those around you
  • Learning Management System (LMS) experience preferred
  • Comfortable speaking to small and medium size audiences
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an absolute focus on quality of work.
  • Proven ability to engage across department functions (Sales, Marketing, Support, Customer Success, and Product)
  • A positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
  • Comfortable with Travel as required (approximately 30%).

This position has an annual base salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 USD.
