Sales Operations Manager


Job Summary:


The Sales Operations Manager is a strategic role that leads the development of requirements for sales and commercial support systems and technology, provides operational support to sales management, and maintains and manages processes and procedures to support the sales process. This role is primarily responsible for driving and supporting initiatives and projects to improve sales team execution and productivity for a team of over 30 sales associates.


This is an opportunity to lead a team focused on commercial outcomes in a complex B2B commercial environment. Working in Sales Operations gives you exposure to, and the opportunity to influence, many areas of the company including Sales, Marketing, Sustainability, Finance, IT, Business Intelligence, Product Development, Customer Service, and Customer Experience.


Responsibilities:


Sets short and long-term roadmap for Printpack’s CRM and other sales technology to ensure that the commercial organization and the company get maximum value from the investments. Accountable for CRM program effectiveness including overseeing and managing all CRM and sales technology projects and initiatives to improve productivity, accountability, and performance management. Builds business cases to invest in new sales tools, negotiates agreements with, and manages relationships with sales technology partners to optimize Printpack’s sales technology stack. Responsible for business process design and technical architecture.

  • Manages commercial team metrics and provides recommendations on improvements. Develops and implements strategic sales programs to support business unit objectives and key results. Sponsors commercial change and improvement initiatives by defining program vision, success criteria, and measurable outcomes, and aligning stakeholders. Creates a sense of urgency around improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborates with marketing on sales enablement programs and initiatives. Serves as primary contact for the development, evaluation and implementation of sales training programs.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of specific tools to drive desired sales effectiveness behavior and actions.
  • Develops strategies for sales force automation including building consensus for, setting and executing AI strategy for sales.
  • Hires, develops, coaches, mentors, and grows team.


Desired Skills and Experience:


  • 10+ years of related work experience in B2B sales operations or sales enablement
  • 5+ years of Salesforce CRM Admin experience
  • Experience with BI tools and ERP systems
  • Experience leading and/or executing change management initiatives
  • Expert level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and financial skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills as well as interpersonal skills; ability to communicate about technical matters in layman’s terms as well as clearly articulate thoughts, vision and direction
  • Outstanding collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across business lines to accomplish shared goals and manage expectations


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • Salesforce Admin certification required; Developer certification preferred


This position is in Atlanta with a hybrid schedule that allows for up to 40% remote work weekly.
