The Program Manager will apply structured project management methodologies in complex environments to accelerate existing workstreams and provide an integrated approach and alignment to the web and mobile commerce work taking place across all Business Units. This resource will help to bring stakeholder management and alignment so that decision-making and a 3-year road map can be created.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success.
  • Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Assign and oversee daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all team members are actively working toward established milestones.
  • Develop project plans, goals, and budgets; identify resources needed.
  • Develop schedules and methods for measuring results.
  • Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communications.
  • Submit project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
  • Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
  • Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Conduct post project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Collaborate with Client experts in eCommerce & Web/Mobile App Based ordering systems.
  • Provide program governance / structure.
  • Create Customer Journey Mapping.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment between Tech and Specialty Business Leads.
  • Drive commerce strategy across all Specialty Business Units.
  • Partner with Business Initiative Leads for alignment / structure.
  • Identify 60- and 90-Day Quick Wins.
  • Create a 3 Year Road Map and 1 Year Plan.
  • Link results to the Business Case.
  • Provide status reporting that includes the preferred SDLC format.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or relevant work experience
  • Advanced Degree a plus
  • Industry Certification a plus – ITIL, CSM, PMP, etc.
  • 8+ years of IT Project Management experience, with 3+ years as a Program Manager
  • Proven track record in working on enterprise-level large projects
  • Experience in process definition, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Great written and verbal communications skills with the ability to negotiate and reach “win-win” scenarios
  • Ability to direct and manage teams – identifying project tasks, setting priorities, assigning and monitoring work
  • Ability to interact with and manage both local and virtual project teams
  • Experience (leading or participating) in the deployment of enterprise-wide processes
  • Knowledge of SDLC, application integration principles, standards and methods
  • Expert knowledge of the MS Office Suite – Project, Visio, Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience with Enterprise Commerce & Web/Mobile App based ordering channels
  • Distribution and Supply Chain experience preferred
