Marketing Coordinator

ICR, LLC – Fully Remote

Established in 1998, ICR is a strategic advisory and communications firm ranked 5th among all independent agencies and 2nd overall for financial services PR and IR in the U.S. ICR partners with companies to develop and execute strategic communications programs that achieve business goals, build credibility, and enhance the long-term value of the enterprise. The firm’s highly differentiated service model, which pairs capital markets veterans with senior communications professionals, brings deep sector knowledge and relationships to clients in more than 20 industries. ICR expanded into Asia in 2006. Since then, the ICR Asia team has assisted dozens of high-profile Asia-based clients to get listed in the U.S. through IPOs and SPACs. Following a US listing, the firm will continue to provide strategic communications services to those clients in the aftermarket.

Role:

The ICR Asia team is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to focus on the US markets. The ideal work hours will be 1 pm to 10 pm ET (10 am to 7 pm PT). The Marketing Coordinator will be expected to have strong communications (both verbal and written) capabilities, creativity and imagination, an analytical mindset and a strong, detail-oriented work ethic with a focus on client service. With guidance from senior members of the team, the Marketing Coordinator will market our clients to investors, analysts, and bankers, draft, edit and review strategic communications documents, including those prepared by our Asian colleagues, and operate under tight time constraints often imposed by our clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Market our clients to investors, analysts, and bankers
  • Develop and manage relationships with key analysts and institutional investors
  • Develop and manage timeline for investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and other major events
  • Track, compile and analyze our client’s competitor/peer business developments, market valuation, and financial results
  • Prepare reports and analysis for our clients outlining investor feedback, financial results, stock price performance, changes to institutional shareholder base, etc.
  • Interact with senior company executives to prepare for quarterly earnings calls, including drafting earnings releases, management Q&A preparation, and investor feedback
  • Assist with the creation and preparation of key messages and supporting investor presentation materials for senior management
  • Copy edit and proofread press releases, executive scripts, and other client deliverables according to AP style, internal style sheets, and additional client requirements
  • Conduct editorial research on best practices in the financial press and investor communications
  • Provide direct support to senior team members on Asia team

Job Requirements:


  • Strong English writing skills with a proficiency to market clients to our target audience
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to conduct confident and professional phone calls and zoom meetings
  • Ability to draw on creativity and imagination in conjunction with critical reasoning
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task with efficiency
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects with limited supervision
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prompt generative AI to produce desired results
  • Strong interest in or understanding of the equity markets
  • College degree
  • Strong interest in working with Asia-based companies and ability to navigate the Asian business culture
  • Must provide a writing sample and be willing to take writing and editing tests
