The Senior Director, HR Transformation is responsible for planning and managing large-scale, global, complex projects, as part of the overall HR Transformation program. You will partner with HR leaders across Danaher Corporate, Groups/Platforms and Operating Companies, in addition to business leaders and finance leaders as appropriate. The incumbent in this leadership role will lead the successful implementation of enterprise-wide initiatives involving organizational change, process optimization and technology deployment, supported by strong change management.

This position is part of the Corporate HR Transformation team and will be located remotely in the United States.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Project Management: Lead and oversee large-scale, global, complex projects that drive HR transformation, from initiation & planning to execution, monitoring & closure – including defining and managing project scope, timelines, resources, deliverables and risks. Drive project execution to meet project goals
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to drive HR transformation initiatives effectively. Conduct change readiness assessments and develop strategies to ensure organizational readiness, buy-in and maximize adoption
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise-wide stakeholders, including HR leaders, business leaders, and cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment, engagement and effective communication throughout the transformation process
  • Process Improvement: Partner with HR functional leaders in the application of DBS tools and the implementation of HR process improvements across the enterprise, along with the corresponding technology
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with Learning and Development teams to design and deliver training programs that equip HR teams and employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to new processes and technologies
  • Performance Measurement: Develop metrics and performance indicators to track the success and impact of HR transformation initiatives and provide regular progress reports to key stakeholders, including budgeting and financial business implications both cost and savings
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within HR processes and systems, leveraging DBS tools, industry best practices and innovative technologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a project management or transformation role, managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving them to successful completion
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale, global, complex change and transformation projects within the HR function or similar change initiatives, involving processes and technology
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practices
  • Demonstrated communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards a common vision and goal, navigating ambiguity, adapting to change, and thriving in a dynamic work environment
  • Effective problem-solving skills and analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex business challenges and develop data-driven solutions

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel domestically and/or overseas 30% - 45%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Change management certification or proven expertise in change management methodologies and tools
  • Experience with HR Operations and HR Shared Services

The salary range for this role is $170,000 - $250,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
