In June 2024, LuisaViaRoma will open its New York flagship at 1 Bond Street in New York City. This New York location will physically anchor the brand in the American market with statement retail while further opening the US digital audience through location-based brand awareness and trust. The New York store extends LVR’s history of innovation by embracing modern retail concepts while retaining elements of exclusivity & discretion for the elite clientele that it will service.

Overview

LusiaViaRoma is seeking a motivated and innovative fashion retail Operations Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing all retail operations, budgeting, and analyzing store performance in order to maximize efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in retail operations and an understanding of fashion trends. Exceptional interpersonal communication/problem solving skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to think strategically and work collaboratively.

This role reports to the Store Director and collaborates with/supports the VIC and store teams.

As the Operations Manager, your role will include but not limited to:

  • Top line strategic planning & management of the front/back-of-house operations
  • Overseeing all operational functions, which includes inventory control, inbound/outbound merchandise movement, customer service issues, housekeeping, and ensuring that maintenance and selling associates are industry compliant
  • Direct involvement with and adherence to budget across all operations
  • Partner with HQ based in Florence, Italy for operations and programs rollout
  • Ensuring the timely movement of merchandise and adherence to all procedural guidelines including, but not limited to, transfers, RTV's, damages, and negative on hands - Thorough management of inventory control, operational staff, ensuring efficient operation of all back of house
  • Performing and preparing all inventories and cycle counts, including reconciliations of stock discrepancies
  • Accurate order fulfillment for online orders - Stock adjustments in tandem with the Store Management and HQ Team - Ensure building and store are maintained to company standard and all issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • Organizing and overseeing management of IT, Customer Service, security and cleaning

Experience Required:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and or 7+ years experience working in Retail Operations with direct budget, accounting and P&L responsibility
  • Operational experience with both internal and external 3PLs; order management (including fraud), distribution, fulfillment and customer service
  • Strategic merchandise/product planning and direct response marketing experience
  • Highly resourceful, flexible and creative problem solving and strong sense of urgency to prioritize tasks and deliver on time
  • Handle situations professionally, including balancing operational efficiency, data analysis and various cross-functional teams’ input
  • Strong contract and SOW negotiation skills, specifically around vendor selection and 3rd party management services
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, OMS, PIMs (custom and/or vendor-provided, e.g. Salesforce Commerce/Marketing Cloud, Shopify, Adobe Commerce)
  • Understanding, as a business user, of systems integration – Batch jobs, EDI, FTP, Databases, APIs
  • Exposure to technology platforms and principles around business data and related security – customer data management, business analytics, BI, reporting, compliance

Compensation Range:

The base compensation range for this position is $90,000. Health benefits and 401K are included as well. Operations management positions are eligible for bonus and sales incentives. Our offer will be based on your relevant experience
