The Neighborhood Services Division strives to engage and strengthen neighborhoods in Orange County through encouraging compliance with the relevant codes, neighborhood planning, community development, and outreach.

The Neighborhood Services Division is seeking a highly qualified professional to fill the position of Project Coordinator. This position supports the Pine Hills Neighborhood Improvement District (NID), a special district focused on economic development, revitalization, and public safety along the major business corridors in Pine Hills. Working closely with the special district’s Executive Director, this position will assist with community outreach, project execution, grant development/writing, strategic planning, and coordination with community stakeholders.

Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the assigned supervisor.

Job Description

General Functions

Conducts special project assignments and provides administrative support to the assigned division. This is responsible administrative work assisting the Division Director. The incumbent conducts assignments to enhance and improve division operations. An employee in a position assigned to this classification performs research, analysis and evaluation of programs, projects and operational procedures. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the assigned supervisor.

Representative Duties/Assignments

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in a field of study to be specified by the department and three years of experience to be specified by the department; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

Facilities Department:Required to possess and maintain Florida Driver's License.

Pay Grade: 015 - From $23.56 to $30.63
