Under immediate supervision, the IT Asset Specialist I maintains, tracks and disposes of company technology assets (hardware, software, services).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory of technology assets; completes inventory reports; escalates inventory discrepancies.
  • Ships and receives technology assets; issues inter-company credits through inventory system; performs

physical inventory.

  • Processing returns and excess equipment; ensures vendor credits are received; escalates credit issues.
  • Disposes technology assets; tracks credits, rebates and refunds; updates financial information in inventory

system.

  • Researches resell vendors.
  • Tests and configures computers and components.
  • Resells used Company technology, including but not limited to, receiving payment and shipping product.
  • Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to Asset procedures and

services.

  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in IT Procurement and/or IT Asset management.
  • Proficient with Service Now and the Asset Management module
  • Experience with Forklift, Pallet Jack, and Warehouse operations
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office (Specifically Word and Excel)
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a high level of accurately, while presenting a

professional demeanor

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience managing multiple projects to meet various deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Mustbeabletoliftupto50lbs
  • Must be able to stand, bend, sit, move pallets and boxes for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Experience with FedEx, UPS and Freight Vendor Shipping System
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes. In

addition, organizational and problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.

Educational Requirements

  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred Associates Degree,
  • Additional college level supply chain or computer classes are beneficial.
  • Ability to complete OSHA Forklift Certification within 30 days

Work Days

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

Work Hours

Normal scheduled shifts are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime (more than forty hours per week) may be necessary. Part-time employee schedules are determined by the Manager of the department and may be subject to change.
