Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Description

We seek a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our team and work under the direction of Project Managers. You will report to the Manager of the Supply Chain Project and be responsible for creating and maintaining the procurement list for all projects within the program. You will ensure all procurement aspects are covered by collaborating with project managers, equipment vendors, suppliers, and the procurement team. Additionally, you will coordinate with the external engineering firm for equipment list information and procurement statuses.

Hard Skills

• Experience working with external suppliers/vendors for procurement activities
• Experience with warehousing/logistics automated equipment
• Experience creating and maintaining procurement lists for projects
• Experience with capital projects is a plus

Minimum Requirement Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or other relevant majors from an accredited university
• Associate degree in or vocational training in engineering, supply chain, or other relevant studies with minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Military service with a focus on procurement /supply chain / equipment maintenance activities
  
  

Work Environment

• In office 5 days on-site in Clayton, North Carolina.
• This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
