Technical Program Manager - HIL Testing

Technical Program Manager (HIL Testing) has fundamental capabilities with respect to planning, organizing, communicating and problem solving. You will brings unique skills in leadership, analysis, critical thinking, conflict management and risk management. Responsible for defining project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organizing and leading project status and working meetings; preparing and distributing progress reports; managing risks and issues; correcting deviations from plans; and performing delivery planning for assigned projects. Manage multiple projects simultaneous that are complex or high-risk and is able to develop recovery strategies for projects that stray from their plan. Manage the capture of product requirements in a holistic manner and drives to meet project goals with both quality and integrity.



Responsibilities:

  • Led end-to-end introduction of new programs, overseeing planning, implementation, and execution
  • Collaborating technically with various cross-functional teams to support and track deliverables for vehicle milestone builds.
  • Act as an interface between HIL and program teams, prioritizing tasks based on program milestones
  • Develop vehicle build specifications for HIL environments
  • Establish program milestone timelines, outlining key milestones and Hardware-In-The-Loop team deliverables
  • Track the progress of agile stories for each HIL team, identifying Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)/Test engineers, and communicate part pedigrees for ordering
  • Monitor the testing progress of each feature at each test cycle/milestone


Experience Required:

  • Minimum 8+ years' experience (6+ years with Master's Degree) managing projects at technology-based companies or technical domains
  • Experience managing a geo-dispersed project team
  • Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-the-loop) Automation testing with systems integration and validation
  • Experience with ADAS (Advance Driver Assistance System), Simulation and design (Software & Hardware at vehicle level)
  • Experience working in a concurrent software development environment as part of a complex build and merge management process
  • Design, build and maintain the HiL SW Validation Cycle plan including scope, schedule, budget and risk management
  • Lead the gathering of product requirements and project scope in a holistic manner across multiple teams or business functions
  • Monitor progress to plan and design a recovery strategy if project deviates from baseline plan
  • Design and run effective program-level meetings to communicate status and coordinate efforts
  • Collaborate with peers, managers and team members across the organization to solve problems, develop plans and coordinate work
  • Plays an instrumental role in the organizations Agile transformation, acts as a change agent and shows strong leadership skills with a positive and collaborative attitude


Experience Preferred:

  • Desired PMP certification with accompanying experience managing projects to a successful conclusion
  • Experience with SAFe/Agile/Lean is preferred.
  • Desired Agile scrum master certification
  • Desired dSpace Hardware/Software experience
  • Desired experience with JiraAlign


Education Required:

  • BSEE, BSCS or other Engineering Technology collegiate degree.
