SUMMARY

The IT Director oversees all information technology operations, including infrastructure and software application development and support. Provides vision, strategy, planning, and support of information technologies and aligns with business strategies and initiatives. Responsible and accountable for safeguarding the company’s information assets.

DUTIES

  • Work with organizational leaders to develop technology plans, policies, and procedures that align with company goals, initiatives, and standards.
  • Oversee the evaluation, development, and recommendation of IT solutions specific to the entire organization and specific IT solutions for individual departments.
  • Select and manage effective working relations with a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Plan and execute O365 cloud migration.
  • Oversee ERP functions to ensure sustainable support.
  • Manage a small IT team.
  • Manage IT capital and expense budgets.
  • Guide IT disaster/recovery business continuation planning and testing.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors to ensure cost-effective IT services and purchases.
  • Participate in all lean initiatives where IT solutions are impacted.
  • Oversee IT security processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging IT technologies and determine adoption feasibility.
  • Guide any recommended training for end users on IT solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BS/BA in Information Technology or related field.
  • 3-5 years of IT Director experience.
  • Proven experience with an O365 Migration.
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting an ERP system.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Exhibit a high degree of Emotional Intelligence with the ability to influence others, demonstrate decision-making capabilities, and display effective personal presence.
  • Strong strategic and business acumen.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
